Medications forms will
be collected Saturday 11/8 after practice (same procedure as last trip.
Prop Truck will be loaded after practice on Wednesday 11/13
(approximately 5PM).
Thursday after school departure approximately 3:30PM.
Thursday performance at 11:00PM (EST). The Students will not
be returning until Sunday afternoon.
TRAVEL RELEASES WILL ONLY BE DONE AT THE HOTEL AFTER THE FINALS
COMPETITION ON SATURDAY! Click

Maps have also
been posted to help those parents who are traveling down to
Indianapolis (to both the Country Inn and Lucas Oil Stadium).
Sunday 10:00AM (EST) departure for home (from the Hotel).
Expected arrival back at LWN at approximately 2PM. Buses and
Trucks will be unloaded then.Check the

to see if any itinerary adjustments have to be made along the way
for the Grand Nationals competition. |

be collected Thursday after practice (same procedure as last trip.
Prop Truck will be loaded after practice on Thursday
(approximately 6PM). Chaperone Meeting at 6:30PM on
Thursday.
Friday after school departure approximately 4:30PM.
Saturday performance at 12:00PM. If we do not make finals
the band will stay to watch finals from the stands.
Sunday 9:30AM departure for home (from Lake Williamson).
Expected arrival back at LWN at approximately 2PM. Buses and
Trucks will be unloaded then. |

The trucks will be
loaded Friday night after practice is over (approximately 8pm).
Eat a good breakfast before arriving at school (early) Saturday
morning. Bring snacks, water/gatorade for the bus ride and a
lunch to eat later on in the day..
The Awards ceremony for LWN's Class 3A
competition will be at 2:14PM. As a reminder and courtesy to
the band and audience, bell ringing and/or whistle blowing during
the performances are not allowed. This can be done before and
after the performances.
A Finals performance is not guaranteed. We
have to wait until the end of all the preliminaries for all
classes to see if we make it. Finals start at 8:00PM.
The Marching Phoenix will stay as a group to
watch the finals performances and awards presentations whether
they are competing or not.. |

is hosting our next event. An
itinerary for the
event has been posted on our website, as has a
map on how to get
to the competition.
Monticello is located halfway between Champaign and Decatur on
Interstate 72. Monticello High School is located off Route 105 at
the south end of Monticello.

Stadium is the new location for the September 20th Bands of
America Regional Championship (previously to be held at the
University of Miami, OH). Itinerary,
map, and

Morton High School Marching Invitational |
Juniors are being asked
to park their cars in the back of the school by the auditorium.
Bring a lunch to eat on the bus and snacks for the ride back.
As a reminder travel release forms will be needed for those who
want to return with parents. NOTE
parent prop practice has now been cancelled due to weather. |

will not be able to leave with anyone other than a parent.
